Our Professional John Hay turned Professional in 1974 and has been at Waterlooville since then. During that time John played on the European Tour while he was attached to the club and has twice played in The Open. John has two Assistant Professionals who work in the shop and are available to give lessons.
David Hickman
David turned Professional in 1992 and started to work for John in 1994 , David was a top amateur who played for England Boys Team and has now built a very good reputation as golf coach. David is very highly regarded in the County due to his work with the Hants County Golf Union.
Layla Ahmed
Layla turned Professional in 2008 and passed her final exams in April 2011 to become a fully qualified Professional. During her three years in training she has combined her study work with playing local PGA events and teaching.
Both David and Layla are available for lessons to members and visitors.
